July 2011 / Queens Neighborhoods / Queens Buzz. Summer is upon us and a number of community groups in collaboration with the NYC Parks Department have put together a summer full of concerts in the parks. These concerts are designed for young and old alike and they're FREE.

- July 22nd begins at 2 pm. Hawaiian Hoola Dance with Josh Cho. Free admission / first come first serve.
- July 29th begins at 2 pm. Dance of Argentina with Mayte Vicens. Free admission / first come first serve.
- July 10 - September 17 from 12 - 5 pm. Revealing The Source is a group exhibit of many FCCA visual artists. Opening reception is July 10th from 4 - 6 pm. Suggested Donation $5.
To date we haven't yet seen anything for the Travers Park free concerts in Jackson Heights. We're inquiring as we post this, so check back soon.
