This report details a number of upcoming Memorial Day Weekend parades in Queens NYC.

NYC Weather Forecast as of 5.7.25. It's too early to update the weather.

What follows is the Memorial Day Weekend weather last year [2024]. The temperature highs will fall from the mid 80's on Friday to about 70 on Monday, The temperature lows will be in the low to mid 60's all four days of the long weekend. No rain is in the forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but on Monday there's about an inch of rain expected, but when and how much has been changing, so stay tuned. The winds will be 5 - 10 mph Friday, Saturday and Sunday, then kicking up to 10 - 15 mph on Monday. The humidity increases from 45% - 55% on Friday, to 45% - 75% on Saturday, and then continuing to rise to 70 - 80% on Sunday and 80% - 90% on Monday. Three out of four days isn't bad, and the last day, Memorial Day, is still a bit of a wild card.

* Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm - Memorial Day Service with the Scouts - at 127-15 Kew Gardens Road near the Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens. The playing of taps and the reading of those killed in the various wars in which the U.S. has been involved, who are buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery. * Sunday, May 26, 2024 beginning at 2 pm, the 103nd College Point Memorial Day Parade marches from 28th Avenue and College Point to MacNeil Park in College Point. For details see - https://www.facebook.com/CPmemorialdayparade/.

* Sunday, May 26, 2024 from 1 - 3 pm, the Maspeth Memorial Day Parade marches from Walter Garlinge Memorial Park at 72nd Street and Grand Avenue in Maspeth. The parade marches down Grand Avenue ending at 69th Street at Maspeth Memorial Park where there will be a ceremony and community gathering. ECCA antique autos are participating in the parade. * Sunday, May 26, 2024 from 11 am - 2 pm, the American Legion Forest Hills Memorial Day Weekend Parade. The opening ceremony begins at 11 am and the parade begins at 12 noon, marching from Ascan Avenue and Metropolitan Avenue [home of the Legion Post] to St. Johns Cemetery at Cooper and Metropolitan Avenues in Forest Hills. ECCA antique autos are participating in the parade.

* Monday, May 27, 2024 beginning at 9 am - Laurelton Memorial Day Parade. The parade begins at Merrick and Francis Lewis Blvd and ends at the Veterans Memorial Triangle at 225th Street. https://e-clubhouse.org/sites/laurelton/

* Monday, May 27, 2023 the Douglaston - Little Neck Memorial Day Parade begins at 2 pm at Jayson Avenue marching southwest along Northern Blvd and ending at 245th Street in Douglaston, near the Zion Episcopal Church. * [TIME UNPUBLISHED SO 2023 SHOWING HERE] Monday, May 27, 2024 from 11 am - 1 pm the Ridgewood / Glendale Myrtle Avenue 86th Memorial Day Parade - Begins at Myrtle Avenue and Cypress Avenue, marching down to Cooper Avenue. There will be short ceremonies at both the beginning and end of the parade. Organized by the Allied Veterans Memorial Committee of Ridgewood and Glendale.
