This report details a number of upcoming Memorial Day Weekend parades in Queens NYC.

NYC Weather Forecast as of 5.21.26. There's a 75% chance of up to 1.25 inches of rain on Saturday, starting sometime between 1 and 5 pm and extending into Sunday, with another .25 to .5 inch of rain, ending sometime between 1 and 4 pm. There's a 20% to 40% chance of a negligible amount of rain Monday. The temperature highs will hover between 60 to 65 all weekend, except Monday where it will rise to 70 degrees. The temperature lows will hover in the mid 50's to high 50's all weekend. The winds will range from 1 - 10 mph on Friday, 5 - [mostly] 10 mph Saturday & Sunday, and then back down to 1 - 5 mph Monday. The humidity will swing wildly all weekend, from 80% to 40% Friday, 60% to 95% Saturday, 95% to 80% Sunday and finally levelling off on Monday in the 60% range. It will be cloudy all days of the three day holiday weekend.

* Kew Gardens _ Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 1 - 2 pm & 4 - 5 pm - Memorial Day Service / Classical Concert - at 127-15 Kew Gardens Road inside of Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens. Specifically it's at the Victorian Building at 83-15 Kew Gardens Road at Lefferts Blvd. The playing of taps and the reading of those killed in the various wars in which the U.S. has been involved starting with WWI, who are buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

* College Point _ Sunday, May 24, 2026 assembles at 1.30 pm & kicks off at 2 pm - The 104th College Point Memorial Day Parade - marches from 26th Avenue north along College Point Blvd, veers left onto College Point Place, ending at MacNeil Park along the East River in College Point. * Maspeth _ Sunday, May 24, 2026 from 1 to 3 pm - The Maspeth Memorial Day Parade - marches from Walter Garlinge Memorial Park at 72nd Street and Grand Avenue in Maspeth. The parade marches down Grand Avenue ending at 69th Street at Maspeth Memorial Park where there will be a ceremony and community gathering. ECCA antique autos are participating in the parade. * Forest Hills _ Sunday, May 24, 2026 from 11 am / 12 noon to 2 pm - The American Legion Forest Hills Memorial Day Weekend Parade. The opening ceremony begins at 11 am and the parade kicks off at 12 noon, marching from Ascan Avenue and 107-15 Metropolitan Avenue [home of the Legion Post] to St. Johns Cemetery at Cooper and Metropolitan Avenues in Forest Hills. - Note Prior Year _ Friday, May 23, 2025 beginning at 7 pm - Memorial Day Parade Party - I believe this is at the American Legion Post at 107-15 Metropolitan Avenue in Forest Hills. Free.

* Laurelton _ Monday, May 25, 2026 beginning at 9 am - Laurelton Memorial Day Parade. The parade begins at Merrick and Francis Lewis Blvd and ends at the Veterans Memorial Triangle at 225th Street. https://e-clubhouse.org/sites/laurelton/

* Little Neck / Douglaston _ Monday, May 25, 2026 beginning 10 am / 2 pm - The Douglaston - Little Neck Memorial Day Parade begins at 2 pm at Jayson Avenue marching southwest along Northern Blvd and ending at 245th Street in Douglaston, near the Zion Episcopal Church. This is said to be the biggest Memorial Day Parade in the city. There are related activities leading up to the parade that begin at 10 am and include a Zion Episcopal church service at 243-01 Northern Blvd, a wreath laying ceremony in Monument Park at Alameda Avenue and Northern Blvd, and a brunch in Father Smith Hall. * Ridgewood / Glendale _ Monday, May 25, 2026 from 11 am - 1 pm - Ridgewood / Glendale Myrtle Avenue 88th Annual Memorial Day Parade - Begins at Cypress Avenue, marching along Myrtle Avenue to Cooper Avenue. There will be short ceremonies at both the beginning and end of the parade. Organized by the Allied Veterans Memorial Committee of Ridgewood and Glendale. * Whitestone _ Sunday, May 24, 2026 beginning at 11 am - Whitestone Memorial Day Parade - begins at 26th Avenue between 123rd Street & College Point marching to Herman A. MacNeil Park. There's a half hour to 45 minute ceremony before the parade kicks off at 12.15 pm and begins marching. Organized by the Whitestone Veterans Memorial Association. It begins at 243rd Street and Mayda Road in Rosedale, then marches north along 243rd Street to Veterans Square on Sunrise Highway.
