St Patrick's Day is on a Sunday this year.
There are a lot of celebrations planned for St Pat's Day in Queens. There are a at least three St Patrick's Day Parades in Queens, but they are generally held on the weekends before or after the actual St. Patrick's Day feast on March 17th.
The photo to your right was taken on St. Patrick's Day weekend in a prior year at Donovan's Pub in Woodside.
This report contains a number of suggestions for St. Patrick's Day bars, restaurants and Irish pubs in Queens, including in Astoria, Long Island City, Sunnyside, Woodside [near Jackson Heights], Bayside [near Flushing], the Rockaways [near Jamaica] and in Maspeth / Ridgewood which are near Kew Gardens and Forest Hills. St. Patrick's Day is a bit like New Years Eve, in that the amateur consumers of alcohol of all ethnicities come out to celebrate, and if they are not properly managed / or cared for, accidents may occur, and some of them with life changing consequences.

St Patrick's Day Parades & St Pat's Day Celebrations in Queens
As mentioned in the introduction above, there are three St. Patricks Day Parades in Queens that I know of, that generally occur before and after the St. Patrick's Day feast day.
Saturday, March 4, 2023. The Queens County St. Patrick's Day Parade in the Rockaways kicks off at 1 pm at Beach 130th and Newport Avenue. Church services at Francis de Sales Church [129th and Newport Avenue] will be held prior to the parade. The parade marches east down Newport Avenue to 116th Street, where it turns right / heads south one block to Rockaway Blvd - where it turns left and continues east down Rockaway Blvd to 102nd Street terminating near a shopping center parking lot. This parade is in the Rockaways neighborhood of Queens and as of 2023, this parade is in its 48th year. For more details see - https://queenscountyparade.org/
Sunday, March 5, 2023. The St. Pat's for All Parade in Sunnyside begins with speeches and music at 12 noon, and then kicks off from Skillman Avenue and 43rd Street in Sunnyside, Queens ending 15 blocks further east at 58th Street in Woodside. The St Pats for All Parade was founded in 2000 in response to the Manhattan St Pats Parade boycott of LGBTQ folks marching as openly gay. The Manhattan St Pats Parade has since dropped that policy and permits openly gay members of the community to march in the parade. Saturday, March 25, 2023 beginning at 1 pm the Bayside St. Patrick's Day Parade marches down Bell Blvd between 35th and 42nd Avenues. The parade is a fairly new one, now in its fifth or sixth year [2023]. Description. This neighborhood Irish bar and restaurant serves traditional Irish pub fare like shepherd's pie and fish n' chips, as well as American fare. It's a traditional Irish pub, but has quite a few TV screens for those who like viewing sports events.

Description. The Irish Rover in Astoria is fun Irish pub that has a local clientele of all ages. It's a moderately priced Astoria bar been around for over a decade, and has built up a friendly neighborhood community of regulars. In previous years they hosted an Irish ballad / rebel band beginning at 9 pm. They also have outdoor seating.

Description. Bantry Bay Publick House is a gastropub that serves a fine mulligatawny stew, an Irish stew and shepherd's pie as well as pasta, burgers and other fare. They also keep four rotating brews from some of the many local brewers on tap, along with about a half dozen other beers. They have outdoor seating.

Location. P.J. Leahy's located at 50-02 Vernon Blvd in Long Island City is a neighborhood Irish pub.
Description. It's been operating in LIC since long before the real estate developers and the big money came in. The clientele is local and so is the bar - not fancy and inexpensively priced. Remember you're a guest - not royalty - and you could have a fun time. They have outdoor seating.

OPEN _ Donovans Pub Woodside - St Pat's Day in Woodside Queens

Location. Donovans pub is located at 57-24 Roosevelt Avenue in Woodside Queens.
Description. Donovan's was the Clover Leaf Bar prior to being purchased by firefighter Joe Donovan in 1966. Donovan's expanded under Joe's ownership until 2013 when he sold the bar to a former busboy and friend - both of whom are working to carry on the tradition of Donovan's as a local Irish neighborhood pub.
Normally, in the past they had hosted a Rhythm & Blues from 9 - 11.30 pm. Bagpipers from some of parades are said to show up in the late afternoon [5 pm'ish] on Saturday & Sunday of the weekend or weekdays, but this year [2021] isn't normal.
