Queens Weather. As of September 27, 2022, the Temperature highs will be in the high 60's all four days of the long weekend. The temperature lows will be in the low 50's throughout the weekend. There's a chance of a small amount of rain, but the probability of rain as of this writing, is in the low double digits. Winds will be about 5 - 10 mph Friday and Monday and between 5 - 10 mph on all weekend. The Humidity will be between 55% - 70% throughout the weekend. Click for Queens Weather.

Columbus Day Parade - Astoria Queens
There's a Columbus Day Parade in Astoria Queens on the Saturday before Columbus Day beginning at 12 noon at Kaufman Studios and marching up Steinway Street and then 31st Avenue. Check the front page of this website for other things to do on Columbus Day in Queens.

ON HIATUS OCT 2021 _ Kyaking Along The East River In Queens - Columbus Day Weekend

Check their website and they generally went kyaking on a Saturday or Sunday between 1 and 5 pm at Hallets Cove just north of Socrates Sculpture Park or at Gantry Plaza at 50th Street & Center Blvd [see www.licboathouse.org for update]. Music & Art in Long Island City Queens Columbus Day Weekend
The PS1 MoMA Museum in Long Island City is open throughout the weekend [hours 12 noon - 8 pm Fri & Sat / and until 6 pm Sun & Mon] and oftentimes hosts a number of different art / music performances. Last year on Friday [10/8/ 21] they held a members shopping fair.
The Queens Museum is also open and is hosting events. They are closed on Mondays.
Theater In Queens - Columbus Day Weekend

Thalia Theater is is located in Sunnyside and generally performs all three weekend nights [not Monday] traditionally beginning at 8 pm Fri / Sat and 4 pm Sunday [$35 / $27].
