PS1 Art Exhibits in Long Island City
October 19th – into 2009: Fall Opening Celebration
There are four art exhibitions being featured at PS1 this fall. Leandro Erlich has done an installation that attempts to confound one’s visual senses / perception of space using a swimming pool. NeoHooDoo features a number of international artists who explore art and it’s relationship to ritual and spirituality. Gino de Dominicis features a late Italian artist who apparently lived an isolated life. Yael Bartana explores society and politics in Israel through five videos. Admission $5 / $2.
