November 14: Second Sundays - In Consideration Of Becoming An Artist
At 3 pm. In November, a panel will discuss the issues associated with prepping the upcoming exhibitiion of On Becoming An Artist: Isamu Noguchi And His Contemporaries, 1922 - 1960. Free with admission.
November 17 - April 24, 2011: On Becoming An Artist: Isamu Noguchi And His Contemporaries, 1922 - 1960
This exhibit explores Isamu Noguchi's career and early development. It includes earlier works and his interactions with and influences on and from his contemporaries.

Queens Museum Of Art [QMA] Exhibit in Flushing
November 14: Luis Marquez & The World Of Tomorrow
Reception from 3 to 6 pm. An exhibit of photographs taken at the 1939-1940 World's Fair in Flushing by a Mexican photographer tending one of the exhibits during the world's fair. There will be a dance performance and Mexian refreshments. Free with admission.
Perennial Exhibits: Panorama Of New York City & Tiffany Glass Collection
The panorama of the city of New York, created for the 1964 World's Fair and updated in the 90's is impressive to see at least once in a lifetime. And they also have a Tiffany Glass collection.
The first Sunday of every month is free from 1 - 4 pm, compliments of the MetLife Foundation. These four exhibits opened in September. The performance related segments of Your Hero Is A Ghost has been completed, but click the link to a video which you might enjoy. November 21: Artists Talk About - autosemblematic
From 2 - 4 pm. Artists discuss the themes of the exhibit which include our automatic reactions to visual stimuli, the semblance of one's art to a universal art vocabulary, and emblems as representations of a larger whole.

From 6 - 9 pm. This is a fundraiser for the creation of a western Queens food cooperative. The event features over ten restaurants, a couple of beverage vendors and hosts a few exhibitors.
