Begins at 4.15 pm at corner of 11th Street and Jackson Avenue [Sweet Leaf] in LIC. The ride goes to Dyker Heights where the residents host a million-watt, over-the-top, display of Christmas tree lights. The full ride is 30 - 35 miles, but you can cut it in half by taking the subway home. Free admission.

The Flushing facilities are open year around. Bring a swimming suit, a swimming cap and quality padlock to be admitted to the pool. And you can rent skates to use the world ice arena [both in the same buillding]. Begins at 7 pm on 12/1, at 3 pm on 12/2, at 12 noon on 12/3, at 7 pm on 12/7 and on 12/ 8 shows at 2 pm and 7.30 pm. French farce about beautiful wife suspecting husband of having an affair. Set in post war [WWI] France with comic mishaps and mistaken identities. Admission $10 / $7.
