May 14 - 18: LIC Arts Open
Art festival involving about 200 artists with exhibits and events in about 40 locations primarily centered in the Queens Plaza, Vernon Blvd and Court Square neighborhoods of LIC.

NYC Parks – Indoor Swimming & Ice Skating In Queens NY
May: Aquatic Center & World Class Ice Rink
The Flushing facilities are open year around. Bring a swimming suit, a swimming cap and quality padlock to be admitted to the pool. And you can rent skates to use the world ice arena [both in the same buillding].
