September 7 - 21: Sacred Waters: A Collection of Hindu Offerings From Jamaica Bay
Opening reception from 3 - 6 pm on 9/14. A Hindu green initiative conducts monthly clean ups at Jamaica Bay in alignment with the Hindu tradition of Ganga Puja [worship to the waters] through seva which is selfless service.

NYC Parks – Indoor Swimming & Ice Skating In Queens NY
September: Aquatic Center & World Class Ice Rink
The Flushing facilities are open year around. Bring a swimming suit, a swimming cap and quality padlock to be admitted to the pool. And you can rent skates to use the world ice arena [both in the same buillding]. The story is about a talk show host who's about to go national and his on-air humiliation of his ex-wife puts him over the top, resulting in his murder by an aggravated member of the audience. Begins at 7 pm on 9/5 & 9/6. Matinees at 12 noon 9/4, 2 pm 9/6 and 3 pm 9/7. Original work about loss of a sister that Agnes never knew. She finds her sister's dungeons and dragons notebook and embarks on violent and comical adventure. Admission $5.
