From 2 - 6 pm. 2013 Season opening reception of summer sculpture done by Christoff: Finio Architecture done by interpreting instructions given by 60 artists. There are a host of free films being shown outside at parks around the borough. Astoria Park, Socrates Sculpture Park and a park in Sunnyside, just to mention a few. Not sure what QMA is doing, as they will not be hosting their Passport Film Series. We'll post more later this week.

Fireworks display after the game. The game begins at 7.30 pm and generally runs 3 plus hours. Admission $20, but you can watch for free from the parking lot or Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

From 10 am - 3 pm. Mt Sinai Queens United Community Civic Association host health screenings for asthma, blood pressure, BMI, bone density, glucose and lung function. The Health Fair will also include games, giveaways, live entertainment, music, and refreshments.

NYC Parks – Indoor Swimming & Ice Skating In Queens NY
July: Aquatic Center & World Class Ice Rink
The Flushing facilities are open year around. Bring a swimming suit, a swimming cap and quality padlock to be admitted to the pool. And you can rent skates to use the world ice arena [both in the same buillding].
