New exhibit about Noguchi's influence by master ink painter Qi Baishi under whom Noguchi studied in Beijing circa 1930. Baishi was a famous Chinese artists who painted small things like ants and crickets.

November 13 - 16: Surrender
Begins at 8 pm. Experimental theater about futuristic reporter caught in quandary that begs the question, what's important in life. Main Stage Theater, but as workshop only 25 people admitted each performance. Admission $10 / $5.
November 20 - 23: Almost Maine
Begins at 7.30 pm. Almost Maine isn't a coastal town, nowhere near the ocean and it doesn't exist. 19 actors bring John Cariani's play to life. Admission $5.

Begins at 7 pm. Once-in-a-blue-moon theatrical performance by an assortment of Queens government officials to raise funds. Queens Borough President-elect Maria Katz is actually an accomplished vocalist and Astoria City Councilmember Peter Vallone Jr. plays a pretty mean electric guitar.
